1. By way of this petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.154/2010 registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against them.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No.2, namely, Surinder Kaur, consequent upon certain matrimonial and domestic disputes having arisen between the parties. The case is at the initial stage of trial as charge sheet has been filed. Meanwhile, the respondent No.2 and the petitioners have amicably settled their disputes Crl.M.C. No.3880/2015 Page 1 of 8 before Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi vide settlement/agreement dated 15.10.2013, for a total sum of Rs.3.50 Lac. As per the said settlement, an amount of Rs.0.50 Lac paid on 17.10.2013; and two instalments of Rs.01.00 Lac each were paid at the time of recording first motion petition and second motion petition respectively for divorce by mutual consent and the balance amount of Rs.1.00 Lac is paid today in the Court, which is being made to respondent No.2 through draft bearing No.006607 dated 03.09.2015 in her favour drawn on Federal Bank, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, which has been accepted by her without any objection.
