1. By way of the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner seeks directions thereby quashing of FIR No. 350/2000 registered at Police Station Dabri, New Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 506/507/IPC, against him.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No.2, namely, Swaran Singh. Thereafter, matter has been settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 11.11.2014. Thus, the said respondent does not want to pursue the case further against the petitioner.
3. Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and has been Crl.M.C. No.3501/2015 Page 1 of 6 identified by the ASI, Investigating Officer in the present case. Respondent no. 2 states that the matter has been settled with the petitioner. He does not want to pursue the case further against him. He has no objection, if the present petition is allowed.
