1. Vide the present petition; petitioners seek directions thereby quashing of FIR No. 353/2008 registered at PS-Kalyan Puri for the offences punishable under Sections 324/34 IPC against the petitioners and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against them.
2. Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent no. 2, who along with respondent nos. 3 & 4 received injuries in a quarrel took place between them and the petitioners. After investigation, Police has filed the chargesheet, charges have been framed and the case is pending for prosecution evidence. Meanwhile, the matter has been compromised between the parties and the petitioners compensated the respondents mentioned above by making a payment of Rs.3,00,000/- by way of Demand Draft no. 721682 dated 27.07.2015 drawn on State Bank of India, Ghazipur Branch, who received the same without any protest. Thus, they do not want to pursue the case further against the petitioners.
