1. Vide the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 460/2009 registered at Police Station Sarojini Nagar for the offences punishable under Sections 406/498-A/34 IPC and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against the petitioners on the ground that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submit that the aforesaid case was registered on the complaint of respondent No.2, Mrs.Sarda Devi, against late Sh Sunil Kumar (husband), Sh Gauri Shanker (father-in-law), Smt.Phoolwati (mother-in-law), who died after lodging of the aforesaid FIR and the petitioners herein. After investigating the case, police filed the charge sheet; charges have been framed against the petitioners and the matter is pending trial.
