% (ORAL) Quashing of FIR No.188/2014, under Sections 498-A/406/34 of IPC registered at police station Neb Sarai, Delhi is sought on the basis of amicable resolution of the matrimonial dispute, which is the subject matter of the FIR in question.

Notice.

Mr. Karan Singh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent-State accepts notice and submits that respondent No.2, present in the Court, has been identified to be the complainant/first-informant of the FIR in question by SI Md. Yusuf on the basis of identity proof CRL.M.C. 1796/2015 Page 1 produced by her.

Respondent No.2, present in the Court, submits that the dispute between the parties has been amicably resolved and terms thereof have been fully acted upon and divorce by mutual consent has been already granted by the family court on 12th November, 2014. Respondent No.2 affirms the factum of settlement and the contents of her affidavit of 29th April, 2015 supporting this petition and submits that now no dispute with petitioners survives and so, the proceedings arising out of the FIR in question be brought to an end.
